Domaine de la Dague
AOP Rasteau

Acquired in 1958, Domaine de la Dague is on a small plateau with hillsides facing east and west. The soil has a high proportion of clay which retains the water that infiltrates the plateau. We love the pond, the spring, the pine forest... legend has it that there was once a convent here, named Saint-Martin.

Terroir
The vines grow on the limestone plateau around the village of Rasteau, in soils of marl and clay, with limestone clay stones.
Grape varieties
Grenache, Syrah.
Wine profiles
On this terroir the Grenache are deep in colour with a very expressive nose. This grape variety expresses aromas of preserved cherry but also cacao, thyme, spices and gingerbread. Full and smooth in the mouth.
