This Domaine, acquired in 1961, is situated on the eastern side of B\u00e9darrides, on the gentle slopes of the renowned Crau plateau. It is a terroir that is very representative of the Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape appellation, with large round stones covering a limestone clay subsoil. We discovered a legal Chartreuse marker post on the property, which demonstrates its attachment to this religious order!<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Round pebbles to the northeast of the Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape appellation. Through the effect of erosion, pebbles and clay are carried down from the upper terraces to form a layer on the lower slopes. The vines are situated on a gentle slope facing the rising sun. So these Chartreuse parcels enjoy maximum sunshine exposure, and are exposed to a rising wind that protects them from vine diseases.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

The wines from these slopes of round pebbles offer a structure that is both full and concentrated, and intense elegance.
