Our credo- always progress, down the generations.\u2026 That is what drives us. It was in 1919 that Gabriel Rey, farmer and nurseryman in the Vaucluse, acquired the winegrowing estate of La Tour, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, near the Dentelles de Montmirail. This marked the official start to our story, even though the agricultural roots of our family go back centuries. Since then, our family has patiently built up a vineyard that today includes several Domaines in the prestigious appellations of the southern Rhone. And we make red wines with passion.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

1919<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

1929<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t Acquisition of the vines of Ch\u00e2teau de Saint-Andr\u00e9-des-Rami\u00e8res at Gigondas, with the Veyrat family. It was then composed of several parcels at Saint-Andr\u00e9, Trignon, and La Moutte, in the Monges forest. Most of these were in the north-west of the Gigondas appellation.\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

1942<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t Gabriel\u2019s son, Andr\u00e9, took over from his father, with whom he shared the same vision and ambition \u2013 that of building up an exceptional estate by constantly seeking out the finest vines.\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t Acquisition of one of the very best parcels in Gigondas at the col d\u2019Alsau, in the Dentelles de Montmirail, which demanded twenty years of work (from 1973 to 1993).\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
